Cody's F-250.
2025 Super Duty + FWC Hawk.

A new 2025 F-250 Lariat gas Super Duty paired with a new FWC Hawk camper. Carli Pintop suspension, 37" Toyos on Nomad Saharas, a 58-gallon TransferFlow tank, REDARC solar, Starlink Mini, and a Wolfbox front-and-rear digital mirror. Built to go far.

A new Hawk on a new Lariat.

Cody came to us at the start of 2026 with a clean ask: a brand-new 2025 F-250 Super Duty Lariat with about 20,000 miles on it, and a brand-new FWC Hawk slide-in he was speccing alongside the truck build. He wanted a true do-everything overland rig — long-haul road trips, fire-road access, real ride quality on the highway, and the camper fitted out to live out of for weeks at a time. He'd done his homework. He knew he wanted the Carli Pintop suspension, he came in with opinions on wheels (Nomad Saharas), tires (Toyo Open Country A/T3 in 37×12.50R17), and he'd already picked out the Hawk's interior color palette — black-oxide cabinets, bamboo countertop, black coin flooring, matte black diamond plate siding. Our job was to bring all of it together cleanly.

Suspension is the Carli 2023+ Super Duty Pintop kit in the level-height spec, in standard blue anodizing, with the full package — XHD leaf pack for the loaded weight Cody runs with the camper installed, fabricated radius arms, replacement torsion sway bar, both high-mount and low-mount steering stabilizers (the low mount also brings a diff guard), shock protection film, and Carli's front-and-rear load scale sensors so he can read suspension load on the move. We added a Hellwig Big Wig 1-5/16" rear sway bar on top of the Carli torsion bar — paired, they keep body roll dialed even with the loaded camper pushing the center of gravity up. Wheels are Nomad 503SB Saharas in satin black, 17x8.5 with +10mm offset — they pack the brakes tight but they work great, and the 17-inch sizing is intentional because it opens up the tire-size options Cody wanted. Tires are Toyo Open Country A/T3 in 37×12.50R17, Load Range E, five of them — full-size matching spare carried on a Carli Trophy Hitch out back. The Trophy Hitch is the right call any time you're running 37s and don't want the spare eating bed space.

Behind the truck-side build is the FWC Hawk. Spec'd with the rollover couch floor plan, twin lithium batteries on shore power charging, a Truma furnace, a Truma water heater with an outside shower, a 2-way 85-liter fridge, a king bed slide, front and rear roof fans, a quilted thermal pack with window covers, a carpet kit over the linoleum, an 8-foot side awning with a built-in light, rear floodlights, exterior LED lighting, rear wall steps, mechanical jacks with extension plates, and Yakima roof tracks. The Ready-To-Go-Anywhere package rounds it out. On top of the camper we mounted a REDARC 180W monocrystalline solar panel to the Yakima tracks to feed the FWC's REDARC Rogue power system, and we built a custom Starlink Mini roof-mount solution — PCI Mini Race Bracket on metal mounting plates with 3M VHB, magnetic feet for quick removal, waterproof cable seal through the roof, wired into the camper's factory Starlink port and switched via the FWC's Starlink button so it works the way every other camper accessory works.

Inside the truck cab, an ARB Twin air compressor goes under the back seat using SDHQ's under-seat mount kit and a 9-foot extension harness, plumbed to dual air chucks — one at each rear door — so airing tires up at the gate is a two-step process instead of running a hose around the rig. A Wolfbox G900 Tri-Pro 3-channel digital rear-view mirror replaces the factory mirror with a front camera mounted on the truck's front end and a rear camera mounted on the back wall of the FWC — so the digital mirror gives Cody a clean look behind the camper instead of staring at its front wall. Because the FWC install relocates the truck's factory backup camera, a CameraSource dual-mount LVDS relocation kit (with a new camera, so we don't have to disassemble the tailgate to harvest the factory one) keeps the truck's 360-view camera system fully functional after install. The fuel system gets a TransferFlow 58-gallon midship replacement tank for the gas Super Duty — drop-in, aluminized steel, roughly double the factory tank's range. Built to do its job.
